Survey for Designer! How do you design with data in fashion?

Data analysis is of fundamental importance for obtaining information and directing the actions of sustainable companies, from the design of garments to better communicate with their customers. So often, however, we go about finding data without thinking about the vast amount of available information which remains unused.

I am Cristina Marino, a PhD student at the Polytechnic University of Turin, and I am analysing the use of data in the creative process of fashion companies and how this has an impact on sustainability.

If you are a designer, we invite you to take 10 minutes to fill out the questionnaire by following this link: https://my.forms.app/cristinamarino/mappingfashiondata

The questionnaire consists of three parts:

  1. the first one is dedicated to the designer and their relationship with sustainability,

  2. the second investigates the relationship between designers and data

  3. the final part analyses the reference company context.

In addition to supporting me in my research, you will be able to get in touch with my research and receive exciting ideas for rethinking data collection and use in your daily practices to better orient yourself on the path toward social and environmental sustainability.

Thanks in advance to those who will participate!
